Vetoquinol Aluspray-AWD is a topical aerosol spray and liquid bandage for dogs and cats. It forms a protective, flexible, and breathable aluminum film over open wounds, cuts, surgical incisions, and abrasions to shield them from dirt, moisture, and bacteria.

How it Works

• Physical Barrier: The aluminum powder creates a waterproof layer that stops outside contaminants and deters flies from laying eggs in the wound.
• Triple Antibiotic Formula: The aerosol is enriched with Neomycin, Polymyxin B, and Bacitracin, which actively kill bacteria and prevent secondary infections.
• Comfortable & Breathable: Unlike thick ointments or creams, the spray is quick-drying, non-sticky, and non-stinging. It allows oxygen to reach the wound to support the body’s natural healing.

How to Apply

1. Clean the Area: Gently clean and disinfect the wound area, ensuring it is completely dry.
2. Shake & Spray: Shake the can thoroughly. Hold the aerosol 15–20 cm (6–8 inches) away from the pet’s skin.
3. Coat: Apply a light, even layer over the affected area. Avoid spraying directly into the eyes, ears, or nose.
4. Frequency: Typically applied once or twice daily, or exactly as directed by your veterinarian.
