Description
Himalaya Erina EP Shampoo is a poly-herbal veterinary shampoo designed to control ectoparasites like ticks, fleas, and lice in dogs and cats. It is used to eliminate parasites, relieve itching and redness, prevent fungal or bacterial skin infections, and maintain overall coat hygiene.
Key Ingredients
The formula combines potent herbal extracts and botanical compounds known for their anti-parasitic and soothing properties:
- Neem (Nimba / Azadirachta Indica): Acts as a natural insecticide to destroy external parasites while soothing irritated skin and preventing fungal or bacterial infections.
- Eucalyptus (Tailaparni): Provides antiseptic and germicidal properties that help keep insects at bay and promote skin health.
- Sweet Flag (Vacha): Possesses insect-repelling and antimicrobial qualities.
- Purple Tephrosia (Sarapunkha): Helps soothe the skin and supports supportive therapy for dermatitis and lesions.
- Other Ingredients: Includes lemon (for a fresh, deodorizing fragrance), betaine, and glycerin to condition the coat and prevent dryness.
How to Use
- Wet: Thoroughly wet your pet’s coat with warm water.
- Apply: Apply the required quantity of shampoo and massage it deep into the hair roots to create a thick lather.
- Wait: Leave the lather on the body for 10 to 15 minutes to allow the herbal extracts to act on the parasites.
- Rinse: Wash off completely with clean water and pat the pet dry with a towel.
Note: Always use this shampoo as directed by your veterinarian, especially for prolonged treatments or if your pet is pregnant or nursing.
