Description
Fiprofort Plus for Cats is a topical spot-on treatment designed to kill and prevent external parasites like fleas, ticks, and lice. It is suitable for kittens and cats 8 weeks of age and older, providing a full month of continuous protection.
Uses
- Flea Control: Kills adult fleas, as well as flea eggs and larvae, effectively breaking the flea life cycle to prevent environmental re-infestation.
- Tick Elimination: Paralyzes and kills common ticks, including paralysis ticks.
- Lice Treatment: Eradicates chewing lice.
- Flea Allergy Dermatitis (FAD): Helps reduce and treat the effects of FAD caused by flea bites.
Ingredients
The dual-action formula relies on two primary active ingredients:
- Fipronil (9.8% w/v): A potent ectoparasiticide that attacks the nervous system of adult fleas and ticks, paralyzing and killing them on contact.
- (S)-Methoprene (11.8% w/v): An insect growth regulator (IGR) that mimics juvenile hormones, preventing flea eggs and larvae from maturing into breeding adult fleas.
How to Use
- Application: Part the fur at the base of the cat’s neck (between the shoulder blades) until the skin is visible. Squeeze the entire contents of the pipette directly onto the skin.
- Frequency: Apply once every 30 days for continuous prevention.
