Interban Cream by Corise Healthcare is a topical veterinary medication used for dogs and cats to treat bacterial skin infections.

Ingredients

• Mupirocin (2% w/v): A broad-spectrum topical antibiotic that stops bacterial growth by inhibiting protein synthesis, effective against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus and Staphylococcus intermedius.

Uses and Indications

• Primary and Secondary Bacterial Infections: Treats superficial pyoderma, folliculitis, and infected traumatic lesions.
• Wound Care: Used on minor cuts, lacerations, sutured wounds, and unhealing or post-surgical dressings.
• Specific Skin Conditions: Helps manage conditions like lick dermatitis and pododermatitis.

How to Use

• • Application: Apply a thin layer of the cream to cover the affected area.
  • Frequency: Typically applied 2 to 3 times a day, or strictly as directed by a veterinarian.

• Precautions:
  • Requires a veterinary prescription.
  • Prevent your pet from licking the treated area for at least 10–15 minutes after application.
  • Avoid contact with the eyes, nose, mouth, and ears.
  • Generally used for 5 to 10 days (do not exceed 14 consecutive days without veterinary reassessment).
