Staphban Ointment

Staphban Ointment is a topical prescription medication for dogs and cats used to treat bacterial skin infections.

Ingredients

The sole active ingredient in regular Staphban is Mupirocin 2%. Mupirocin is a powerful topical antibiotic.

Uses

It is highly effective against bacterial skin issues (especially Staphylococcus strains). Common applications include:

• Superficial pyoderma (bacterial skin infections)
• Feline acne and interdigital abscesses
• Minor wounds, burns, cuts, and scrapes
• Post-surgical wound healing
